Gameplay

You are the AI in control of the game, with powerful control over the world. The players' goal is to reach treasure, and you'd better stop them. Change the terrain, place traps and monsters in the characters' path, dropping meteors on the players, or inflict lag and other glitches, to prevent your game from ending!

Characters

Soldiers will attack monsters before heading towards the treasure, and smugglers will head directly to the treasure disabling traps along the way. Smugglers are invisible to the player and monsters, so you will have to anti cloak them by scanning the server connections and using various other packet sniffing technology available. You'll have to reveal your monsters to the game

Limits

You may be the AI, but you're not all-powerful. You must avoid arousing the suspicion of the players, as well as having to avoid overloading your systems. Your different actions drain your resources differently.

Levels

Each level consists of a planet, on which there is a colony. The colony spawns characters throughout the level. There will be different win conditions across the various levels. The player may have to kill a certain number of characters, all of the characters, or just prevent the characters from winning for a certain amount of time. The characters win if they obtain all the treasure. In all cases, the player loses if the characters become sufficiently suspicious that the AI has gone rogue.

Terrain

MountainWater

The basic terrain is just open grass, but you can add mountains and rivers to the world to protect your treasure. The characters can’t see through mountains or walk over water. However, a pre-programmed constraint prevents you from completely blocking off treasure with terrain.

Designate slow “Game Loading...” zones in sections of the world.

Anti-Cloaking

These abilities make smugglers visible.

Plasmite Splat

Plasmite

Splat of plasma over an area that permanently coats the smugglers in orange goo.

Surface Scan

Surface Scan

Temporarily reveals all of the smugglers in the world.

Cloaking Detector

Cloaking Detector

Radar tower that makes smugglers within its radius visible. Once the smuggler is out of range, he will become invisible again.

Damage

These can harm both warriors and smugglers, cloaked and de-cloaked

Comet Strike

Comet Strike

Fire falls from the sky killing anything within its blast radius on the ground.

Nanite Swarm

Nanite Swarm

These little buggers float around the world waiting for something to get close enough for them to attack. They then proceed to eat their victim within a matter of seconds.

Monsters

Monster

Place monsters in the world and they will fight warriors and kill de-cloaked smugglers within their attack radius. Cloaked smugglers can sneak past them.

Traps

Trap

Warriors are vulnerable to all traps, while smugglers can see and disable them.
